Lauren Williams

Lauren Williams has a diverse work experience in the field of business development, operations, and management. Lauren is currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Operations at TechOp Solutions International since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Health Security Partners as the Director of Operations and Management from April 2017 to March 2021. Lauren'sexperience also includes working at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) as the Director of Operations and as the Unconventional Weapons and Technology Program Manager. Lauren has also worked as a Project Manager and Senior Biological Compliance Analyst at BAI Inc, as the Deputy Director of Vaccine Safety and Special Projects at America's Health Insurance Plans, as the Deputy Operations Chief - Biosurveillance at Veratect, and as an Infectious Disease Program Manager at the Association of Public Health Laboratories. Lauren's roles have involved responsibilities such as overseeing project portfolios, coordinating research teams, managing budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing contract support, conducting outreach efforts, and developing training programs.

Lauren Williams holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, which they earned from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 2000 to 2004. Lauren went on to pursue further education at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where they obtained a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree in Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Disease. This course took place from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Lauren Williams has obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2022.
