Bill Serrao has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Bill started their career in the US Army as a Captain in the Signal Corps from 1980 to 1985. Bill then joined Prodigy Services Company, an early internet services startup, as a Manager, where they played a pivotal role in developing the company's business plan. In 1988, Bill joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager and later became a Partner, serving in this role until 2002. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, they gained extensive experience in consulting and advising clients. From 2002 to 2009, Bill worked at IBM Global Business Services as a Partner, specifically leading the Americas Media & Entertainment vertical. In 2009, they joined TechPar Group, where they initially held the position of Principal Advisor and later became a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, Bill serves as the Partner and Chief Executive Officer at TechPar Group, providing advisory services to enterprise clients, technology investors, and high-growth companies. Additionally, they hold a position as an Adjunct Professor of Business at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York, where they teach an undergraduate course on international business.

Bill Serrao completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1976 to 1980. Bill then pursued further education, earning a Master of Science degree in Business Management from The City University of New York in 2009 and 2010.
