Luis Moncayo Castillo

Luis Moncayo Castillo is an experienced entrepreneur and mentor with a strong background in business growth and quality control. As a mentor at Techstars since July 2017, Luis helps accelerate business development through targeted guidance. In addition, as Cofounder and Managing Director at Inspectoria since October 2015, Luis has focused on enhancing supply chain transparency and compliance through innovative mobile technologies. Cofounding ASIAM in August 2004, Luis has contributed to responsible sourcing and quality control in the textile industry across Asia. Further entrepreneurial efforts include roles as Cofounder and Board Member at StartupsVentures, which promotes entrepreneurship in Ecuador, and Sinox, a brand for urban explorers. Notably, Luis served as Cofounder and COO at Asia Retail Connection, a master franchisor for the Funky Fish brand in Latin America. Luis's early career includes experience as an Account Manager at Bureau Veritas. Academically, Luis holds executive education credentials from Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a Business Engineering degree from Universidad Internacional del Ecuador.
