Ronald Epstein serves as a Technology Advisor to United Airlines Ventures, focusing on eVTOL, electric, and sustainable airframe and propulsion technologies since August 2023. Concurrently, Ronald holds a position as a member of the Board of Regents at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and has been mentoring at Techstars since May 2019. Additionally, Ronald is an Affiliate Professor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where lecturing occurs in the Government and Defense Organizations Executive Education and Leadership Development Program. As a Senior Equity Analyst at Bank of America since July 2001, Ronald leads research on the Aerospace and Defense industries. Previously, Ronald worked as an Applied Research Scientist at Boeing from December 1995 to September 1999. Educational credentials include an MBA from The Wharton School, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, and a Diplôme d'ingénier from the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Ronald also earned a Master of Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Skidmore College.
