Torben Rabe

Torben Rabe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the finance and tech industries. Currently serving as a Startup Mentor at Techstars since September 2023, Torben supports founders in developing go-to-market, growth, and partnership strategies. Previously, Torben held various impactful roles at Qonto, including Transformation Director, where leadership in strategic projects drove revenue growth and operational efficiency, Global Partnerships Director focused on customer acquisition, Managing Director after Qonto's acquisition of Penta, and Country Director for Germany. Other notable experiences include heading operations for Bird in DACH, consulting at Oliver Wyman, and contributing to financial development at Rocket Internet SE and Audi India. Educationally, Torben holds a Master’s degree in Management Grande École with a focus on International Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
