Alexandra Borngesser

Alexandra Borngesser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fund development and economic growth initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Fund Development at TechTown Detroit and the Director of Economic Development Fundraising at Wayne State University since February 2024, Alexandra has previously held leadership roles including Director of Grants & Philanthropy for the City of Pontiac, Operations Director at the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, and Campaign Director for Dana Nessel for Michigan Attorney General. Earlier career highlights include positions in human resources and digital communications within legal and political spheres, alongside a fellowship at the Michigan Democratic Party. Alexandra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Wayne State University, completed in 2014.
