Daniel Meling

Daniel Meling is a Project Engineer II at Techtronic Industries - TTI since August 2021, previously holding the position of Project Engineer I. Before TTI, Daniel worked as a Production Specialist at Serionix, Inc., where significant contributions included analyzing inefficiencies in manufacturing and designing methods to reduce waste. As Technical Development Lead for Illinois Enactus, Daniel developed low-flow showerhead prototypes aimed at decreasing water consumption and successfully manufactured and tested these prototypes in university housing. Earlier experience includes a Software Intern role at Fine Inc. where software was created to track induction and sensory data in automated systems, and a Video Producer position at Illinois Applied Research Institute, responsible for producing videos about a genomics software UI. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in May 2021, and has an educational background from University Laboratory High School, graduating in 2017.
