Seyit Turkmen

Seyit Turkmen is an experienced professional with a background in controls, compliance, and finance. Seyit currently holds the position of Head of Controls & Compliance EMEA at Techtronic Industries - TTI since September 2023. Prior to this, Seyit worked at Philip Morris International, where they held the roles of Manager Risk & Controls from July 2018 to September 2023, and Corporate Audit Senior Auditor from February 2016 to July 2018. Seyit also gained valuable experience at Unilever as an Assistant Finance Manager, with various responsibilities from 2009 to 2016. Seyit started their career at PwC as a Senior Auditor from 2007 to 2009.

Seyit Turkmen has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bogazici University Department of Economics. Seyit pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they completed the MBA Essentials program. Seyit Turkmen has also obtained certifications in the field of auditing, including being a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, which they obtained in November 2021. Seyit is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accredited by TÜRMOB since August 2023. Additionally, they obtained the Internal Audit Practitioner certification from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors in March 2017.
