Syed Afraz Akhtar

Syed Afraz Akhtar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Syed Afraz is currently working as a Senior Analyst (Business Applications) at Systems MEA (Techvista) since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NdcTech from 2018 to 2022, starting as a Management Trainee Business Consultant and progressing to Senior Business Consultant. In their role as a Business Consultant, they successfully implemented loan origination and management systems at The Bank of Khyber. Syed Afraz also served as an Associate Business Consultant and an Application Support Lead during their time at NdcTech.

Before joining NdcTech, Syed worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2017 to 2018. Syed Afraz gained experience as a Project Intern at Bank Alfalah Limited from June 2017 to August 2017.

Syed's earliest work experience was as a Marketing Executive at Modern Building Maintenance Sourcing Pvt. Ltd. from 2013 to 2014. Here, they assisted the marketing manager in planning and implementing marketing campaigns, designed a service marketing mix, prepared reports on marketing efforts' outcomes, and monitored campaign expenditure.

Overall, Syed Afraz Akhtar has developed a strong skill set in business consulting, project management, and marketing through their various roles and experiences.

Syed Afraz Akhtar completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics & Business from Lahore University of Management Sciences, graduating in the year 2018. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2013, they attended Arab Unity School in Dubai, UAE, where they pursued their Cambridge IGCSE and GCE A Level studies in the field of Business/Commerce, General.

In addition to their formal education, Syed Afraz Akhtar obtained a certification in "Intro to Programming Using Python" from Kaggle in June 2022.
