Prashant Mishra

Prashant Mishra is the Founder and CEO of TechXR Innovations Private Limited since February 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Additional Director of Income Tax at the Income Tax Department of India from April 2020 to July 2021, and as Joint Commissioner for the Benami Prohibition Unit in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from July 2017 to April 2020, where Prashant built a team and established processes from scratch. Additionally, Prashant held the position of Joint Director of Income Tax (Investigation) at the Ministry of Finance, overseeing Zonal Investigation Units and managing elections in collaboration with the Election Commission. A sabbatical was taken in early 2017 to explore the technology sector. Earlier roles include Deputy Director at the Enforcement Directorate and Assistant Director at the Income Tax Department. Prashant began a career in technology as a Design Engineer at STMicroelectronics from 2003 to 2005, following a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
