Aaron Wylie

Aaron Wylie is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as the Superintendent of Mine Operations at Teck Resources Limited since August 2012, overseeing a team of 45 staff and 350 hourly employees with a focus on safe mine production. Wylie has held various leadership roles within the company, including responsibilities in mine automation strategy and project management for the first autonomous haulage deployment. Prior positions include Superintendent of Health and Safety, General Supervisor of Mine Operations, and contributions to long-range planning as a Senior Mining Engineer. Wylie began at Teck Resources as a Mining Engineer in short-range planning and has a solid educational background with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering and a Minor in Commerce from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
