Andrew Stirling

Andrew Stirling currently serves as Lead, Operational Risk Management at Teck Resources Limited since October 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Principal Consultant at AGStirling Consulting, LLC, where the focus was on enhancing manufacturing process safety for explosives companies. Andrew's extensive experience at Orica from May 1985 to June 2021 includes various leadership positions, notably as Senior Manager of Process Safety for Initiating Systems & Packaged Explosives Manufacturing. Throughout the tenure at Orica, Andrew contributed to significant safety initiatives, including the development of the LEXIS Knowledge Management SharePoint Site and the coordination of safety programs leading to improved operational risk management. Andrew's background in mining engineering was obtained at Queen's University, where a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) was earned.
