Christine Baron, BBA, CPA, CGA, is an experienced finance professional specializing in project cost management and controls within the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Cost Control at Teck Resources Limited since November 2021, Christine is instrumental in establishing project-based accounting functions and ensuring accurate reporting of project costs. Previous roles include Lead Cost Engineer at KAZ Minerals for the Peschanka Copper Project and various project controls management positions at Freeport-McMoRan.
