Greg Demchuk

Greg Demchuk, P.Eng., L/R Blender, is an experienced professional in regulatory approvals and engineering with a diverse background. Currently serving as Regulatory Approvals Lead at Teck Resources Limited since April 2021, Greg develops regulatory submissions and manages multidisciplinary consulting teams for capital projects across multiple mine sites. Previous roles include Senior Advisor for Regulatory Applications at Husky Energy, where Greg facilitated regulatory submissions and built relationships with regulators, and at Cenovus Energy, where Greg supported capital developments and managed regulatory submissions for significant assets. Earlier career experiences at IMV Projects Inc. and Golder Associates Ltd. included generating regulatory documentation and leading project management efforts for various environmental assessments. Greg's career began as a Junior Engineer and spans a unique period as a professional musician, where essential collaboration and communication skills were honed. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has also pursued education at the University of Alberta.
