Stephane Brienne

Stephane Brienne currently serves as the Manager of Technical Services at Elk Valley Resources, a position held since July 2024, and has an extensive background with Teck Resources Limited since February 1996, where roles have included Section Leader for Environmental Technology and Manager of Technical Services in Richmond. Expertise encompasses water treatment, acid rock drainage, and residue stabilization, as well as leading initiatives to tackle hydrometallurgical and environmental challenges in the mining sector. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University, focusing on the in situ investigation of mineral surfaces under flotation conditions. Stephane Brienne holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Auckland, earned between 1984 and 1992.
