Kate Penn

Kate Penn is the Director of Quality Management at Teckro. Kate has over 20 years of experience in quality assurance, document control, training, CAPA creation and maintenance, and auditing.

Kate started their career in quality assurance at Mercury Analytical, a laboratory that specialized in environmental, food and pharmaceutical drugs testing/analysis. Kate was promoted to Quality Manager after 10 years with the company.

In 2008, Kate left Mercury Analytical to join Firecrest Clinical as a QMS Specialist. Kate was responsible for creating and implementing the company's Quality Management System. The QMS was established in 2009 and Kate's role continued to include Document Control, Training, CAPA creation and maintenance, and Auditing (Internal, Client and Vendor).

In 2011, Firecrest Clinical was acquired by ICON plc. Kate continued to work for ICON as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist until 2015.

Kate has been with Teckro since 2015 and is currently the Director of Quality Management.

Kate Penn completed a business degree at the Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Kate Penn works with Nigel Hughes - Vice President, Business Development & Co-Founder, Brendan M. Buckley - Chief Medical Officer, and Cheryl Murphy - Vice President, Customer Engagement & Delivery. Kate Penn reports to Gary Hughes, CEO & Co-Founder.
