Sara Bauer Ph.d., Bcba-D, Lba-Ny

Sara Bauer, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA-NY has extensive experience in the field of Behavior Analysis. Sara is currently the Director of Quality and Support at Encore Support Services since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Regional Director of New Jersey at Encore Support Services from November 2020 to October 2022. Sara also held the position of Clinical Director of the Teaneck Division at the same organization from May 2020 to November 2020.

Before joining Encore Support Services, Dr. Bauer worked as a QA BCBA and ABA Supervisor at Encore Support Services from September 2016 to May 2020. In this role, they supervised graduate students in the area of Behavior Analysis, provided them with guidance and support in pursuing New York State licensure in Behavior Analysis, and reviewed BCBA documentation for proper implementation of ABA programs and compliance with insurance requirements.

Additionally, Dr. Bauer has lecturing experience. Sara worked as a Lecturer in the Applied Behavior Analysis program at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem starting from November 2019. Sara also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Touro College from February 2015 to November 2019.

Dr. Bauer's previous experience includes a role as a Senior Research Investigator at City University of New York - Queens College, where they worked from January 2012 to November 2019. Sara also held positions at Queens College, CUNY, including Director of the ABA Masters and Advanced Certificate Programs from August 2018 to August 2019, Assistant Director of ABA Masters and Certificate Programs from August 2017 to August 2018, Substitute Lecturer from January 2017 to May 2018, and Adjunct Lecturer from September 2009 to January 2017.

Furthermore, Dr. Bauer worked as a BCBA Supervisor at Achieve Beyond from September 2014 to July 2015, as an Adjunct Lecturer at CUNY Lehman College from January 2010 to July 2013, as the Coordinator of End of Summer Program at Ohel/Bais Ezra Lifetime Care Foundation in August 2010, and as a Teachers Assistant at Imagine Academy from September 2008 to June 2009.

Overall, Dr. Bauer has a diverse background in Behavior Analysis, including leadership, supervision, teaching, and research roles.

Sara Bauer, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA-NY has an extensive education history. Sara obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Queens College in 2008. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution and received a Master of Arts degree in Psychology in 2012. Simultaneously, from 2008 to 2013, they also pursued a Master's Degree in Philosophy with a focus on Psychology and Learning Processes at The Graduate Center, City University of New York.

Sara'sdedication to education continued as they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Learning Processes and Behavior Analysis at The Graduate Center, City University of New York from 2008 to 2016.

Additionally, Sara has obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2012, they became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Later in 2014, they acquired the Licensed Behavior Analyst - New York certification from the New York State Education Department.
