Iñaki Iglesias Aguinaga

Iñaki Iglesias Aguinaga is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and innovation within the automotive and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Head of Technology and Innovation UAM at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since February 2007, Iñaki has successfully led the development of the UMILES Concept Integrity VTOL electric air taxi, achieving significant milestones such as proof of concept approval from AESA. Prior roles include Vehicle Modelling, Simulation & DiL Systems R&D Manager, Vehicle Dynamics R&D Manager, and Alternative Electric Powertrains R&D Manager, where Iñaki demonstrated expertise in advanced vehicle simulation technologies, hybrid and electric vehicle dynamics, and propulsion systems design. Iñaki's career began as a Junior engineer for chassis manufacturing processes at Robotiker. Education includes a degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Navarra and various advanced degrees focusing on mechanical engineering and leadership from renowned institutions.
