Pedro Ibañez Ereño

Pedro Ibañez Ereño is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Director of People in the Energy, Climate, and Urban Transition Unit at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since January 2011, Pedro oversees a team of 260 individuals, focusing on talent management and university relations. Previous roles include Operational Director and Technology Director within TECNALIA, where responsibilities encompassed the coordination of production economics and technology plans. Concurrently, Pedro has been a professor of Digital Electronics at the University of the Basque Country since December 1988. Earlier experience includes leading the Technology Department at Robotiker from January 1989 to December 2010. Academic qualifications include a Research Doctorate in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering, both from the University of the Basque Country, along with additional studies at Comillas Pontifical University.
