Luigi Cortese

Luigi Cortese is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in both hardware and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Application Engineer at TECNAU since April 2008, Luigi specializes in developing hardware control logic for machines involved in paper management and Book on Demand production units. Prior roles include Senior Firmware Engineer at Urmet TLC, focusing on public telephony firmware for ISDN technology, and Firmware Engineer at Olivetti, where the adoption of the Euro for cash registers was a key project. Earlier experience includes positions at Microengineering, where Luigi worked on industrial control systems, and a training period at Meccanodora, which involved digital control projects for machinery. Luigi holds a Laurea di primo livello in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Maturità scientifica from Liceo Scientifico.
