Stefano De Marco has an extensive work experience history. Stefano is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sitma Machinery SpA, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of TECNAU since September 2022. During their time at TECNAU, they also held the positions of Managing Director from April 2020 to August 2022, Sales & Marketing Director EMEA from October 2012 to April 2020, and Sales & Marketing Manager from January 2011 to October 2012. Before joining TECNAU, they worked as an Investor Relator at Buzzi Unicem from February 2009 to January 2011, and as a Sales and Marketing Associate at Pininfarina Extra from June 2008 to January 2009.

Stefano further pursued their studies at Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a Master Degree in International Business from 2006 to 2008, specializing in the field of study of Master of Science in International Business.
