Valvanuz Palencia Yllera

Valvanuz Palencia Yllera is a seasoned specialist in energy transition and process engineering with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Specialist Energy Transition at Tecnicas Reunidas since January 2018, Valvanuz has worked on projects focused on carbon capture technologies and led the process engineering for significant combined cycle projects. Prior to this role, Valvanuz held positions as a Senior Process Engineer at INITEC Energía, where the successful engineering of solar combined cycle projects in Saudi Arabia was achieved, and at Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas S.A., leading various engineering facets including hydraulic and thermal calculations. Valvanuz's career further includes significant contributions at SENER and the Ministerio de Energía, Tourism y Agenda Digital, focusing on process engineering and technical-economic evaluations.
