Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive academic and industry experience. Currently, Michael serves as a Professor of Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey and holds adjunct teaching roles at Universidad del CEMA and EADA Business School Barcelona, focusing on quantitative finance, financial derivatives, and investment theory. Previously, Michael was a Partner and Director at KPMG Argentina, leading FRM & Actuarial Services, and served in various roles at KPMG in Spain and Germany, developing financial advisory and treasury management services. With a PhD in Financial Economics from Leibniz Universität Hannover and an MBA from the University of Dayton, Michael has also taught at several universities in Germany and worked as a Financial Engineer at ABN AMRO Bank, specializing in the structuring of financial products.
