Rafael Rico

Rafael Rico is a seasoned professional in data and software development, currently serving as the Data & Intelligence Manager at TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY since July 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing data management and developing AI-driven initiatives within the Innovation and Intelligence Lab. Prior experience includes roles as Cloud Architect, Software Architect, and Software Engineer at the same institution, focusing on services and applications for a large user base. At Sorteo Tec from February 2010 to June 2015, Rafael led the Development team for web and mobile applications, significantly increasing transaction volumes for lottery ticket sales. Earlier experience as a System Analyst at Primero Seguros involved supporting a Java-based web application. Rafael holds a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
