Ricardo Swain

Ricardo Swain has been serving at TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY since August 2000 in various leadership roles, including Regional Dean of the School of Engineering & Sciences for the Monterrey Region and Regional Dean for the School of Design, Engineering & Architecture in the Metropolitan Area of Mexico City. Swain has also held positions such as Dean of Research, Vinculation and International Relationships and Research Director. Additionally, Swain served as a professor and was involved with the Asociación Nacional de Facultades y Escuelas de Ingeniería as President of the Honor Board and President of the Executive Committee from 2010 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Robotics from Toulouse INP, a PostDoc in Robotics funded by DARPA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master's in Design Thinking from Stanford University.
