Sergio Rodríguez

Lecturer In Microeconomics And Finance (assets Management) at Tecnológico de Monterrey

Sergio Rodríguez serves as a Lecturer in Microeconomics and Finance (assets management) at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Lecturer in Managerial Economics at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, both since early 2024. Additionally, Rodríguez is a Teaching Assistant of Industrial Organization at UNAM and has been consulting for EcoAn since March 2023. A former General Director and Deputy Director General of Unilateral Conducts and Illicit Mergers at COFECE from 2015 to 2022, Rodríguez also held the position of General Director of Financial Regulation and Economic Studies at CONSAR from 2011 to 2014. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at The World Bank and a Research Assistant position at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master in Development Economics from the University of East Anglia, and two Master's degrees in Finance and a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
