Michelle Archuleta

Michelle Archuleta has extensive experience in tax roles, currently serving as a Sr. Tax Accountant at New Mexico Gas Company since June 2006. In this position, Michelle is responsible for various tax duties, including the filing of multiple tax returns such as the NM Gross Receipts Tax and Payroll Tax, along with assisting in cash management and compliance projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Tax Auditor at the NM Department of Workforce Solutions from January 2002 to May 2006, where responsibilities involved conducting field audits on employers for compliance with state unemployment tax laws, and as a Revenue Agent at the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department from January 2000 to January 2002, focusing on tax compliance for NM businesses. Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from New Mexico Highlands University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
