David Boone has a diverse work experience, starting with their 22-year career in the US Navy as a Nuclear Surface Officer. During their time in the Navy, they served as a Nuclear Trained Machinists Mate/LCDR (LDO) and retired in 1996. After leaving the Navy, David joined TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company in 1997 as a Test Technician, where they tested various types of motors and developed detailed Test Agendas for customers who visited the factory for witnessed tests. In 1999, they transitioned to TECO Westinghouse in a Projects role, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, David joined TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company again, this time as a Field Service Engineer, where they are currently employed.
David Boone attended Texas A&I from 1973 to 1974, where they studied Biology/Business. David also completed Navy Nuclear Training from 1976 to 1977. No degrees were specified for either of these educational experiences.
