Saranya Patnala has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Summer Intern at the National Thermal Power Corporation. In 2014, they became an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they developed user interfaces and worked with SQL Server. From 2015 to 2017, Saranya worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, delivering teaching and assessment activities at the undergraduate level. In 2016, they took on a Research Oriented Project at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, focused on SiC Based High Frequency Dual Active Bridge Control for 10KVA Solar Inverter. In 2017, Saranya worked as an Engineer at the Eaton India Innovation Center, specializing in testing Eaton lighting products. Following this, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Engineer R&D at TRIBI SYS PVT LTD, where they focused on firmware development for power electronics and motor controls in embedded systems. Currently, Saranya works as an Embedded Software Engineer at TECO-Westinghouse, a position they started in 2022.
Saranya Patnala began their education at Bala Bhanu Vidyalayam from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their primary education under the State Board curriculum. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Vishakapatnam, where they pursued an intermediate degree with a focus on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
In 2009, Saranya enrolled at GMR Institute of Technology, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering and obtained their B.Tech degree in 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master's degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. From 2015 to 2017, they specialized in Power Electronics and Power Systems and obtained their M.Tech degree.
In addition to their formal education, Saranya Patnala obtained a certification in Programming with Python from Internshala in May 2020.
