Richard Quigley

Richard Quigley has had an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Richard started their career as an Area Manager at Reginald Cleaning, where they focused on business growth, staff recruitment, and financial management. Richard then moved on to work as an Engineering Technician at Honeywell Aerospace. After that, they worked as a General Manager at The Marian, where they implemented strategic changes, analyzed markets, and drove marketing initiatives. Richard also implemented lean and six sigma practices to reduce costs. Richard later joined Richard Quigley as a Six Sigma Technical Lean Consultant. Richard then worked at Schivo Group as a Project Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, where they worked on lean and six sigma projects and assisted in change management. Currently, Richard serves as the Regional Director of Operations (Europe & Asia) and General Manager for Cork at Tecomet, Inc. Their responsibilities include providing leadership, ensuring operational excellence, and managing a team of functional leaders. Richard also previously served as the General Manager and Director at Tecomet and an OPEX Manager, where they championed the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and 80/20.

Richard Quigley has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business with a focus on Retail Management from Waterford Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a degree in Manufacturing Technology with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering Technology from the same institute. Richard also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Quality Management - Lean Six Sigma Systems from the University of Limerick. Lastly, they have completed a Master's degree in Business Studies (MBS) with a specialization in Lean Operational Excellence from Waterford Institute of Technology.
