James Sumner

James Sumner is a seasoned Systems Engineer with extensive experience in IT systems and network infrastructure. At TECT Corporation since September 2019, James serves as a Senior Systems Engineer, building on previous experience at York Risk Services Group as a Systems Engineer from March 2015 to September 2019. Earlier roles include IT Systems Manager at Bournville College from October 2008 to August 2014, where James was responsible for campus network infrastructure, and a Senior Technician - Team Leader role that involved significant contributions to infrastructure setup during a major relocation in 2011. James began as a Network Technician, providing helpdesk support and facilitating infrastructure upgrades. James holds a BSc in Computing and IT (Honours) from The Open University, obtained between 2012 and 2017.
