Kate King

Kate King is an experienced design professional currently serving as Design Director and Lead Interior Designer at Tectonic Design Build since January 2022. In this role, Kate develops client relationships, manages expectations, and oversees concept development while collaborating with project management and field teams. Previous experience includes positions as Junior Interior Designer at Studio Thomas, where Kate prepared client presentations and aided in design development, and as Operating Partner and Co-Founder of Go Far Shop, where operations, branding, and project management were key responsibilities. Kate also has a background in eCommerce as an Assistant Buyer at Craftsy and as a Women's Apparel and Footwear Buyer at Gazelle Sports. Educational qualifications include a Master Certification in Interior Design from the Heritage School of Interior Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Hope College.
