John Diener

Senior Vice President at Tectonic Therapeutic

John Diener has worked for a variety of companies since 1998. John began their career as a Postdoc at UC Santa Cruz. In 2001, they moved to Archemix Corp as a Sr Principal Investigator. In 2007, they became the Associate Director of Research Project Management at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Inc. John then worked as a Senior Investigator I at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research from 2010 to 2015. In 2020, they joined Takeda as a Senior Scientific Director, and in 2021 they became the Vice President at Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc.

John Diener received their AB in Chemistry from Bowdoin College in 1992. John then went on to earn their PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from Yale University in 1998. After graduating from Yale, they completed a Post Doc in Structural Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2001.
