John Slaydon

John Slaydon is an accomplished operations manager with extensive experience in manufacturing and production across various industries. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Tectum Inc since January 2021, John previously held the position of Production Manager at Niagara Bottling in 2020 and spent over a decade at Morton Salt as General Manager and Dry End Production Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing plant operations and managing production processes. Earlier in their career, John was Plant Manager at both Ohio Paperboard Corp and Yorktowne Paperboard Corp, where John directed daily operations, managed budgets, and led safety and continuous improvement initiatives. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Pulp and Paper Technology from North Carolina State University from 1979 to 1983.
