Ted Brown Music
Matt Blair is a seasoned professional in the music industry with extensive experience in management and client services. Currently serving as the Store Manager at Ted Brown Music since September 2021, Matt also owns and operates KK Recording, a private recording and video studio established in August 2006. Previously, Matt held positions such as Director of Client Services at American Music Seattle from May 2014 to September 2020, and General Manager at both American Music and Guitar Center, enhancing skills in retail management, marketing, and sales. Matt holds an Associate of Arts degree in Music from North Seattle College, earned between 1982 and 1986.

Ted Brown Music is a family-owned full-service music store established in 1931. Based in Tacoma, Ted Brown Music offers the latest in musical instruments, accessories, sheet music and pro audio. Each store provides expert instrument repair, private lessons, clinics, music events, and more. The company is best known for its school band and orchestra instrument rental program, and services for music educators across the state. Ted Brown Music's tagline is "Your music is our passion!" The company's 501c3 nonprofit, Ted Brown Music Outreach, works to put instruments in the hands of young musicians who can't afford to play in school band or orchestra. TBM Outreach has currently donated over 400 instruments. Ted Brown Music has six locations in the state of Washington: Tacoma, Seattle, Silverdale, Puyallup, Yakima, and Richland.
