Larissa Shoemay

Larissa Shoemay has extensive experience in communications and audience engagement, currently serving as Senior Manager of TEDx Community Engagement at TED Conferences since July 2018. Prior roles include Audience Engagement Manager, Senior Communications Specialist, and Communications Specialist at the same organization. Larissa's previous experience also includes working as an Event Communications Coordinator at PDW Inc., an Executive Administrative Assistant at TELUS, a Brand Ambassador for Daily Hive, and a Communications Associate at The University of British Columbia. Larissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Art and Technology from Simon Fraser University, obtained in 2016.
