Michael Mekes

Michael Mekes has extensive experience in the tooling and mold-making industry, currently serving as Tooling Manager at Tedder Industries since July 2020. Previously, Michael owned Mekes Mold Service and Repair LLC from January 2015 to April 2019, acting as Tool Room Manager and overseeing overseas tooling and designs. Michael served as Senior Mold Maker at Ormco from July 2011 to July 2015, specializing in mold repair for MIM and plastic injection and trained in SolidWorks Essentials. As President and CEO of MGM MOLDS INC from January 1987 to October 2010, Michael designed and built plastic injection molds from concept to completion. Education includes attendance at the University of Hard Knocks (January 1974 - March 2028) and St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California (1968 - 1972).
