Derek Perlman

Derek Perlman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and project management. Currently serving as Co-Head of School at The Teddy Bear Club Preschools in Newton and Lincoln, MA since December 2010, Derek has played a pivotal role in early childhood education. Prior to this, Derek worked as an Operations Specialist at Craton Equity Partners, enhancing the sales and marketing capabilities of portfolio company GigaCrete, and as an MBA Summer Associate at Pacific Charter School Development, where project management for charter school facilities was the focus. Derek's background in the film industry includes serving as Director of Production and Development at The Weinstein Company, overseeing film projects from development to post-production, and as Executive Assistant to the Chairman at Independent Talent Group Limited. Derek holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Philosophy with a minor in English from Georgetown University.
