Fcca James Taylor

James Taylor, FCCA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James currently serves as the VP of Finance at Tedia Company, Inc since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Luxfer Magtech, where they held the positions of Financial Director and Supply Chain Director from July 2020 to May 2023, and from March 2020 to July 2020, respectively.

From April 2018 to March 2020, James worked at Luxfer as the North America Supply Chain Lead, where they were responsible for developing the procurement and supply chain operating model for the Global Luxfer Group.

Before Luxfer, James served as the Finance Controller at Luxfer Magtech from August 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they led the Finance Department and integrated the newly acquired Luxfer Magtech.

From June 2013 to August 2015, James worked as the Group FP&A Manager at Luxfer, where they played a key role in finance processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Prior to Luxfer, James worked at BDO LLP, starting as a Business Restructuring Senior Executive from September 2009 to May 2013. In this role, they specialized in corporate insolvency and managed a portfolio of insolvency cases.

James Taylor, FCCA, has a strong educational background in law and accounting. James began their education at Greenhead College, Huddersfield, where they earned their A Levels in PE, Business Studies, Law, and Chemistry from 2001 to 2003.

Following this, James attended Northumbria University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an LLB Solicitors Exempting Degree in Law. During this time, they also completed the Legal Practice Course from The Law Society in July 2008, further enhancing their legal qualifications.

Furthermore, James has pursued additional certifications to strengthen their expertise in accounting. In February 2013, they obtained the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. These certifications have bolstered James's proficiency in accounting and law, making him well-rounded in both fields.
