Prior to Luxfer, James worked at BDO LLP, starting as a Business Restructuring Senior Executive from September 2009 to May 2013. In this role, they specialized in corporate insolvency and managed a portfolio of insolvency cases.
James Taylor, FCCA, has a strong educational background in law and accounting. James began their education at Greenhead College, Huddersfield, where they earned their A Levels in PE, Business Studies, Law, and Chemistry from 2001 to 2003.
Following this, James attended Northumbria University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an LLB Solicitors Exempting Degree in Law. During this time, they also completed the Legal Practice Course from The Law Society in July 2008, further enhancing their legal qualifications.
Furthermore, James has pursued additional certifications to strengthen their expertise in accounting. In February 2013, they obtained the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. These certifications have bolstered James's proficiency in accounting and law, making him well-rounded in both fields.
