Carl Bärstad

Carl Bärstad is an accomplished campaign manager at Fund Your Mother since April 2024 and the founder of Kids Hack Day since February 2020, focusing on empowering children to make a difference through hands-on activities. As a co-founder of Strawbees and a senior advisor for TEDxStockholm, Carl provides valuable insights to board members and team leads. Carl has played multiple roles at Folk Lab, including co-founder, lab manager, and vice chair of the board of directors, responsible for content development and training in digital fabrication. Previous experiences include heading partnerships at Hello World! Ideell Förening, participating in a leadership course with the Swedish Armed Forces, and managing the Kids Hack The Crisis event in collaboration with Unicef Sweden. Carl holds an MSc in Engineering, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Management, from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, along with an exchange year at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
