Uma Muthuraaman

Uma Muthuraaman is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing at TEDxZurich since September 2023. With a career spanning over a decade as a self-employed consultant, Uma has developed integrated marketing campaigns for global brands, focusing on creative concepts for brand exposure and social media strategy. Prior roles include International Marketing Lead at FotoTV, where Uma managed communication with subscribers and analyzed marketing effectiveness, and Business Development Manager at the Business Intelligence Group. Uma's educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from XIME, Bangalore, and a BS in Computer Science from Ethiraj College, complemented by a program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
