Steve Hernandez

Steve Hernandez is an experienced construction professional currently serving as a Construction Superintendent and formerly as an Assistant Estimator at TEEL Construction, Inc. since April 2015. Responsibilities include reviewing plan documents, communicating with subcontractors regarding bid opportunities, pricing projects with the chief estimator, and following up with clients on future projects. Prior to TEEL, Steve worked as a Carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America and held various roles at the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, including Apprentice Program Director and Shop Instructor. Additionally, Steve served as a Helicopter Crew Chief in the United States Marine Corps from February 1999 to February 2004. Education includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Construction Management from Northern Virginia Community College.
