Maggie Gaffney

Maggie Gaffney has a long and varied work experience. Maggie began their career in 1986 as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Big Y Foods. In 1988, they became a Campus Police Security Officer at Springfield Technical Community College. In 1993, they joined the Massachusetts State Police as a Trooper, where they held various roles including Computer Crimes Investigator/ Forensic Examiner, Detective, Patrol, and Trainee. In 2013, they joined Teel Technologies as Director of Services/ Digital Forensic Examiner, where they facilitated requests for services and discussed mobile forensic needs of clients. Maggie also arranged for digital forensic examiners to fulfill service requests of clients, and assisted law enforcement and criminal justice agencies with their mobile device investigations and cases. Additionally, they developed course curriculum and instructed advanced mobile data extraction techniques.

Maggie Gaffney began their educational journey in 1988 when they earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from Springfield Technical Community College. Maggie then attended Westfield State University in Westfield, MA, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement in 1992. Gaffney continued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England University in 1996. Finally, they completed their educational journey in 2018 when they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida.
