Heather Bowen is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in the third sector, currently serving as the Senior Relationship Manager for Yorkshire and North East at Teenage Cancer Trust since October 2008. With a deep passion for supporting young people facing cancer, Heather has previously held leadership roles at Henshaws Society for Blind People as Regional Manager, overseeing fundraising teams across multiple regions, and at Cancer Research UK as Senior Corporate Manager, managing corporate fundraising efforts. Heather's career began at Macmillan Cancer Support, where contributions were made in capital appeals and corporate management. Education was completed at the University of Leeds, laying the foundation for a dedicated career focused on impactful fundraising and relationship building.
