Dustin Chen

Dustin Chen has a diverse work experience, with a decade of experience starting from the role of Zooplankton Sorting Assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in 2012 to their current role as a Data Engineer - Marketing Integrations at TeePublic starting in February 2023. Dustin has worked as a Math and Science Teacher at both Futures in Education (Halstrom Academy) and performed research as a Marine Ecological Research Intern at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Dustin has also worked in the field of academia where they served as a Graduate Laboratory Assistant at University of San Diego, and a Research Assistant at Climate Education Partners (University of San Diego). In the marketing and data analytics space, they have worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst at Axos Bank, Senior SQL Developer / Data Analyst at Daasity, and Senior Data Analytics Engineer at Apollo GraphQL. Dustin has also worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst at National Pen.

Dustin Chen received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Marine Science from UC San Diego in 2010-2012, followed by their Master of Science degree in Marine Science from the University of San Diego in 2013-2017. Dustin has also obtained various certifications in data science, digital marketing, and other related fields from institutions such as Google, LinkedIn, and DataCamp, between 2019 to 2023.
