Asit Rout

Asit Rout is an experienced mechanical engineer and assistant manager specializing in bulk material handling and design analysis of related equipment for the steel, power, and mining sectors. Currently employed at Tega Industries since July 2017, Asit has held various roles including senior engineer and mechanical engineer within the Global Marketing and Product Management group. Responsibilities include addressing customer problems and providing efficient solutions for both Indian and international clients. Asit also served as a mechanical engineer at Tega Acotec S.A., focusing on business development of transfer chute technology in the South American market, successfully engaging with several major mining companies. Asit began the professional career as a summer intern at Tega Industries, working on cost estimation projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Pattanaik University of Technology (BPUT).
