Chris Mulcahy

Chris Mulcahy is a certified Meteorologist with significant experience in broadcasting. Currently serving as the Morning Traffic Anchor and Noon Meteorologist at TEGNA since August 2018, Chris previously held the position of Weekend Morning Meteorologist at WCNC and worked as a Meteorologist at WJRT, Inc. from June 2016 to July 2018. Earlier in the career, Chris was a Morning Meteorologist and Reporter for Sinclair Broadcast Group, starting as the Weekend Meteorologist and contributing as a feature reporter. Additionally, Chris filled in as a Freelance Meteorologist at WKRC-TV in 2013 and began the professional journey as a Weekend Meteorologist/Reporter at KCAU Channel 9 from January 2010 to December 2011, where valuable experience in covering severe weather was gained. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
