Mat Yurow

Mat Yurow serves as Vice President of Growth at TEGNA since February 2025. Previously, from February 2021 to January 2025, Mat held the position of General Manager and Senior Director of Growth at Thrasio, leading a team focused on acquiring and scaling media and affiliate businesses to enhance sales and data collection for consumer packaged goods. Prior to Thrasio, Mat worked at Tripadvisor as Senior Director of Direct-to-Consumer Products, where responsibilities included developing and scaling new travel services. Earlier roles include Director of Strategy at Wirecutter under The New York Times, where strategic planning and growth strategy were vital, as well as positions at AOL and Bloomberg in social media marketing. Mat earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies from Emory University in 2010.
