Matt Fishman

Matt Fishman is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in sports programming and content creation. Currently serving as Program Director/Operations Manager for 97.1 The Fan at TEGNA since September 2023, Fishman previously held the position of Director of Content at Good Karma Brands, overseeing all content for ESPN Cleveland. Fishman's prior roles include columnist for Barrett Media, communications consultant for Guard The Brain, and various leadership positions at Sirius XM Radio, where achievements included launching MLB Home Plate and developing college sports programming. Previous experience also encompasses programming a start-up sports radio station for Entercom and serving as Sports Director at Audacy, where Fishman managed day-to-day operations of Chicago’s leading sports radio station. Matt Fishman earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
