Matthew C. Hutcheson

Founder & Partner at Tegra Analytics

Prior to founding Tegra Analytics, Matt served as the Vice President of Development for a 35+ person consulting firm and served as an outcomes research associate for a Doylestown PA based consulting firm. During his time at Cornell, Matt taught seven statistics courses as an Assistant Instructor and worked at Data Description, Inc. where he conducted statistical consulting and data analysis in addition to developing and designing the TREWESS (trimmed resistant weighted scatterplot smooth) module of the Data Desk® software package.

Matt's superior analytical skills and expertise building statistical models in the areas of compensation design, forecasting, target marketing, sales force alignment, performance measurement and outcomes (HIV/AIDS, head & neck cancer, ovarian cancer, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, coronary heart disease and Parkinson's) on many projects have won him praise from many clients. Matt possesses the ability to manage, maintain and manipulate large databases (>50 million observations) as well as the talents to create graphics, sounds, movies, animations, interactive scripts and database reports for several Web sites which has resulted in receiving several prestigious awards.

Matt is an adjunct professor at Delaware Valley College and teaches Statistical Data and Research. Matt graduated from Cornell University, where he received both his Master of Science in Statistics in 1995 and a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in 1992.
